Frandles is a one woman, out-of-kitchen project in Fair Haven, Vermont, USA, that was started up in 1998 as a way to reuse the remains of old candles. Chemical sensitivity and a dislike for artificial scents led to experimentation with herbs, spices and botanicals as well as essential oils for candle making, which led to the creation of the Natural Creations line.

Shipping:

Base shipping estimates starts at $5 for the first 2lbs, with an additional $2 for every additional lb, and will be adjusted to match more closely the actual cost of shipping when the order is completed. All orders are shipped VIA the US post office in Fair Haven.

Most packing materials used in shipping are reclaimed or recycled to reduce both cost and environmental impact.
 

Custom Orders:

Most Frandles are done to specifications. Most of the styles and options listed in this page can be adjusted and combined to make a personalized creation.

Shape:

The Moulds page lists every mould that is currently in the Frandles "toolbox" and can accommodate any wax type.

Scent:

Scents are listed on both the Aromatherapy page and the Natural Creations page. [ Please note, Palm and Beeswax do not pick up Natural Creations scents very well. ] If you have a scent in mind that is not listed on those pages, please email Fran<at>Frandles.com with your request. Please note, however, "designer" scents and things like "Sugar Cookie" or "Ocean Breeze" are chemical based scents and are very difficult to replicate using botanicals.

Colour:

While difficult to match colours over the internet, a wide variety of colours is available and every effort will be made to match the colour you have in mind.  Sample votives are encouraged if you have a specific colour in mind that you would like matched.

Ordering:

Ordering for Frandles is done via email.   Since most Frandles are done custom order, communication is very important to ensure that the candle you receive is as close as possible to the candle you envision.

When you have an idea what you would like, please email Fran<At>Frandles.com with the subject line "Frandles Order" or similar. (This will help ensure that your order is not mistaken for spam.)  Most emails will receive a reply within 24 hours.  After details are worked out, you will be emailed notification when the candles are made, as well as be emailed photos and final candle weights. Final shipping totals will then be determined and payment arranged either via PayPal, check or money order.  Another email will be sent out when payment is received and your order shipped.

Please do NOT send payment until you receive the final confirmation that your order has been completed.
